St-Georges’ operations are articulated around 4 axes:
Conducted within our joint-venture (75/25) with Strategic Metallurgy Pyt ltd. this represents our main business activity. The research & development effort conducted leverages the strategic advantage of a wealth of research data and experience, a fully funded & equipped laboratory and a large size pilot plant that can conduct metallurgical tests in sizable batches or loops.
The intellectual property and the patents arising from this operation will be marketed as licensable patented processes.
The current depressed financial state of the mining industry, due mainly to the high costs of operations and low prices of commodities, combined with increased pressure from stakeholders demanding more eco-friendly and sustainable mining approaches sets St-Georges on a winning course.
Reclamation & Mine Tailing Re-processing
There are over 8,000 mining tailing sites in North America which could benefit from St-Georges’ intervention. We are looking for opportunities to partner with mining companies, governments and communities (orphan sites) to gain access to sites which need to improve on the reclamation process already deployed, or need of a solution that reduces the cost of the reclamation process and delivers a permanent solution to the acid drainage problem.
Mining Resources Acquisition/Discovery
St-Georges is currently evaluating its potential involvement in resource development joint-ventures where it could deploy its new processing technologies. These technologies can help make an economical case for certain nickel-copper-cobalt deposits currently deemed uneconomical under traditional processing methods.
We are also maintaining a low intensity mining exploration program on our Nickel-Copper-Cobalt project on the Quebec’s North Shore referred to as the Julie Nickel Discovery Project.
Merger & Acquisition activities in relation with EcoMining, GreenTech & Metallurgical Intellectual Property
St-Georges management is currently evaluating potential additions to its eco-mining and green technology portfolio. These acquisitions might either add to the company’s service offer or be structured and marketed as semi-independent strategic position enabling us to showcase our innovative eco-solutions.
